Adapt to two contract changes master introduced:
- The generated Remote face now wraps every business result in
RemoteResult, folding carrier failures into an ok:false branch instead
of rejecting. The controller reads that envelope at its three call
sites and maps a carrier failure onto the same settled shape the
controls already render; three specs cover the new branch.
- Client packages split their tsconfig into host and client halves, and
the host aggregate now compiles any test not named *.client.spec.*.
Rename this package's specs to the client convention and drop the
../connection project reference, which pointed at a solution file that
no longer carries the client sources.
Keep master's mount loop with its rollback-on-failure in api-remotes and
add messageFeedbackRemote to it.
ed30088adb deleted packages/ui/tui, so the two present-tense clauses naming
it in notes this branch already rewrites no longer describe HEAD. The
operative claim — the surfaces beyond the web row needed no change — stands
without naming the package. Pair hashes re-recorded.
Also anchor tool-row-styles.spec.ts's rule lookup at a rule boundary, so a
compound selector landing above a base rule fails loud instead of reading
the wrong declaration block.
The web-todo-display note still described the dock entry as registering at
order: -1 and reading snapshot.todos through useSession. TodoPanel.tsx
registers at order: 0 and TodoDock reads the host-computed todos projection
through useProjection.
The plan strip header has not emitted `<done>/<total> tasks · <n> in progress`
since #740 replaced it with `·`-joined per-status counts. Four sites still
quoted the old string: plan-summary.ts's module JSDoc, ui-conversation's
README pair, and the web-todo-display note pair.
The parallel-in-progress note's regression example mixed a four-item plan with
an eight-item row reading, and built-boot.snapshot.ts still called itself the
only test loading the built bundles.
The tool catalog boots every tool with its default config, but
allowParallelInProgress has no default, so the generator has to choose;
the page now says which branch it shows. The Agent Note's sidecar count
went stale twice inside this PR, so it records the refresh rule instead
of a point-in-time census. The SDK builtin entry pins its config literal
with satisfies like every sibling.
The linked implemented note is the current-state authority for both one-line
todo surfaces and still specified a single in-progress item: "the in-progress
item as the collapsed one-line hint" and "N/M done · active item". Since the
cap on parallel in_progress items was lifted, both surfaces name the first
active item and count the rest in a separate non-shrinking span.
Bilingual pair updated together and re-recorded.
Three ds-review-bot round-8 findings on the todo display surfaces.
TodoPanel took the whole `useSession` hook and cast the snapshot to reach
`todos`, which put slot plumbing and an unchecked cast inside the presentation
component. The panel now takes `todos: readonly TodoItem[]`; TodoDock does the
selecting, matching the QueueDock posture the dock slot already establishes.
The todo row carried `onClick` with no keyboard route, so its details panel was
mouse-only. It now takes ToolRow's route verbatim: `role="button"`,
`tabIndex={0}`, and an Enter/Space handler that claims the event. The row stays
a `<div>` because a `<button>` flattens its inline spans.
`session.history`'s tail-only `todos` field was documented at the TS signature
but not in the apiproxy README pair, and the Agent Note claimed the feature
added no new wire vocabulary. Both README sides now state the tail/omission
semantics (an omitted field on a tail response is the empty plan, not unchanged
state), and the note records the one added field instead of denying it.
Tests: TodoPanel specs render the plain list; new TodoDock specs cover selection,
live follow, rollback-to-empty, and the registration shape; a new row spec pins
Enter/Space activation and non-activating keys.
An omitted `todos` on a tail request was treated as "no projection carried"
and preserved the prior value. Every installWindow caller is a tail request
(doOpen, its gap re-pull, repairGap; loadOlder prepends without it), which the
host answers with the full-log projection or omits only when the log holds no
todo/write — so the field's absence is the authoritative empty list. A live
write whose host crashed before persisting therefore left the rolled-back plan
on screen indefinitely; the assignment now clears it on the next open or
resync. Widened the parameter to an explicit `| undefined` so the two meanings
cannot be conflated again, and updated the JSDoc at both declaring seams plus
the bilingual README/note pair.
The automation-only ACP bridge deliberately omits todo presentation (its
edge test asserts plan updates are omitted; the todo-write tool note records
the mapping's retirement). Chinese counterpart updated, pair re-recorded;
the TodoPanel header comment drops the same claim.
- TodoPanel mounts through a 'conversation.input.dock' list entry
(todoDockEntry, QueueDock posture, order -1 above the queue rows) instead
of a ConversationRoot hardcode; the inner component is unchanged and takes
useSession from the dock entry's standard kit.
- The verify-todo-display.mjs chromium probe is replaced by an assembled
keyless snapshot (apps/web/tests/todo-display.snapshot.ts, the
code-mode-fixture idiom) pinning the TodoRow summary/state, the dock
panel content, and the collapse round-trip over built bundles.
- Fake snapshots across specs gain the todos field; bilingual note/READMEs
updated for the dock mount and the snapshot.
The projection sentence prescribed resetting todos on window rebuild —
the implementation deliberately preserves the tail-page seed and lets
only in-window/live writes overwrite. The toolview section named a
nonexistent ctx.toolviews registry — the shipped seam is the keyed
conversation.chat.toolview slot via ctx.slots.register. Both sides of
the bilingual pair re-recorded.
The client's todos projection derived only from the paged display window,
so reopening a session whose last todo/write preceded the tail page showed
an empty plan until the user paged back — session-level state cannot be
reconstructed from an arbitrary window. The host owns the full log, so the
tail history response now attaches todos (latest todo/write backscan, the
same posture as the view pairing); installWindow seeds it, window rebuilds
preserve it, and any in-window or live write keeps overwriting it. The
fixture mirrors the host; docs and both Agent Notes record the mechanism.
runtime README documents ConversationSnapshot.todos and its window-scoped
limitation; the todo tool README and Agent Note name the web client among
the event consumers; the web display note records the cold-load gap and
fix directions (bilingual pair re-recorded).
